Question:  How do I get my child tested for the Gifted/Talented program?

Answer:  Anyone can nominate a child to be tested for GT. You may contact your child's teacher or the GT support teacher directly at ajohnson@bisdtx.org.   

Question:   If my child qualifies for the Gifted/Talented program, what happens next?

Answer:     Your child will be placed in a GT trained teacher's class where they will receive instruction in their area of giftedness based on need and readiness. They will also be pulled to work on critical thinking skills, problem-solving, and STEM projects with the support teacher on a biweekly basis.
