• I believe that teaching and learning go well beyond the classroom and my mission as a teacher is threefold:
    • to promote a positive learning environment
    • to spark an enthusiasm for inquiry based study
    • to provide a strong foundation for lifelong educational success
     
    I grew up in both Round Rock and La Grange, Texas. I attended RRISD until completing school in LGISD. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies including English as a Second Language, and I am Gifted and Talented certified. I began my teaching career in BISD as a computer lab teacher and went on to teach 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades, as well as fifth grade STAAR camps and several fun summer school sessions. This is my 11th year teaching in BISD!
    On a more personal note, I am married to a wonderful husband and I'm a proud mama to my baby boy, Carter, who is now attending Bluebonnet as well! ❤
