My name is Robert Thornton.  I have been in education for 18 years, 6 years as a campus administrator.  I have taught a variety of subjects in public schools ranging from Math, Physical Education, Health and Science.  After my time in the classroom I transitioned into my role as an administrator.  I have been an Assistant Principal in Del Valle ISD for the past 6 years, 2 years at an elementary school and the past 4 years at a middle school.  I am excited to join the BIS Kodiak Family as the new Assistant Principal.  I look forward to working with the students and staff here at BISD.
