My name is Judy Marsh, and I am honored to serve as one of the Assistant Principals at Emile Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, a Master’s degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I taught grades 3–6 for ten years and later served as Dean of Students in Reno, Nevada. After relocating with my family to Texas, I worked as an Instructional Coach in Elgin and as an Assistant Principal at Compass Rose before joining the Bastrop ISD community.

My husband, Ryan, is a family counselor, and together we have two sons—one in 6th grade and one in his senior year of high school. My greatest joy in education is seeing students grow and thrive throughout their academic journeys. I feel the same sense of pride in supporting teachers as they continue to develop and refine their craft.
