My name is Candice Pyles, and I am ecstatic to be joining the Emile Elementary family. I attended the University of Houston for my Bachelor’s degree and Sam Houston State University for a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. My family just relocated to Bastrop from the Houston area where I spent the last twelve years serving the community that raised me. I have a variety of educational experiences ranging from elementary and secondary teacher, instructional coach and a district curriculum specialist.

My family consists of my husband, Joseph, and our three beautiful children. I am excited to be bringing my middle and youngest children to campus with me this school year.
