Victor E. Juarez Saucedo “El Maestro Juárez” is a dual language educator with nearly 14 years bilingual/dual-language education experience in the State of Texas. He was a bilingual education pioneer in the Tyler
Independent School District for piloting the first Dual Language Gomez and Gomez model at Birdwell Elementary in the 2012-2013 school year. He is an enthusiastic, committed educator with an innate ability to understand and motivate English Language Learners (ELL) and Spanish Language Learners (SLL). Mr. Juarez Saucedo supported his students in meeting their linguistic and academic goals by participating in cooperative learning environments.Mr. Juarez Saucedo holds a Master of Business Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. He holds a State of Texas Bilingual Certificate EC-4 and a Principal Certification EC-12. He is a life-long learner who engages in professional development at conferences such as the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) and SXSWEdu to incorporate best practices to facilitate learning, technology skills, and second language acquisition. He was selected to speak at SXSWEdu Conference and the Adelante Conference in 2017 on dual language education, “When the TEX meet the MEX.”
Mr. Juarez Saucedo’s primary goal is to enable educators to provide engaging learning environments where students will thrive and attain exceptional levels of linguistic, academic, and technology skills.
