Christina Martinez

  • Christina Martinez is a student-centered leader and passionate educator who was named as Assistant Principal of Mina Elementary in 2025 as well as the Campus Behavior Coordinator. With over nine years of experience in Bastrop ISD, she brings a well-rounded background in instructional coaching, classroom teaching, and campus leadership. Christina is deeply committed to building strong relationships, empowering teachers, and fostering a culture of high expectations and meaningful support for all students and staff.

    Prior to her role in administration, Christina served as a Math and Science Instructional Coach, where she collaborated with K–5 teachers on instructional planning, data analysis, and targeted intervention. Her teaching experience spans Kindergarten and 4th grade, and she has held numerous leadership roles including team lead, PLC lead, PTA vice president, and summer school administrator.

    Christina holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration and Leadership from Concordia University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University. Her leadership philosophy centers around connection, clear communication, and a relentless drive for growth and excellence.

    Outside of school, Christina is a proud wife and mother, an iced coffee enthusiast, and someone who finds genuine joy in organizing school events, celebrating others, and creating warm, inclusive spaces for staff and families. She leads with heart, serves with purpose, and strives every day to make a lasting impact on her school community.
