    Reading
    We ask that every student reads for at least 10-15 minutes daily. This is extremely important in the success of reaching the reading goals for the grade level. Homework/Reading Log will be checked daily. I can't stress enough how important it is that your child is reading every day. Reading can be done in many different ways. I encourage students to read or be read to as much as possible. To encourage this, students can receive prizes for completing reading logs throughout the year. 
     
    Please, please, please read with your kiddos. 
     
    Math
    Your child will go home every night with a formative loop practice page. This single page math practice is individualized to what your child needs. Please complete this daily and return in the behavior binder. Your child also needs to practice math facts each night.  Your child may practice these facts on Imagine Math Facts, with flashcards, or verbally with a parent.  Your child needs to master these facts by the end of the year.
