Growing up, Jake Namken found his love of tennis at the early age of 11 and hasn’t looked back. A four year letterman for the Bastrop High School tennis team, he knew early on that he always wanted to give back to the community where he grew up.
Kendra Monk has been named Director of School Improvement and Federal/State Programs, replacing Dr. Marisol Rocha, who became Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction in Edcouch-Elsa ISD earlier this summer. Monk began her new position July 19.
