Welcome to the BISD Family! We're thrilled you are calling Bastrop ISD home. BISD is a proud public school system in the picturesque Lost Pines of Central Texas. Our district serves more than 11,000 students from the communities of Bastrop, Cedar Creek, Paige, Red Rock, Rockne, and vast rural areas of Bastrop County. We have two comprehensive high schools, an early college high school, and a nontraditional online high school. We also have two middle schools (grades 7 and 8), two intermediate schools (grades 5 and 6), and six elementary schools (grades pre-K through 4). To provide care for the babies and children of our staff and student parents in our district, we also operate two licensed childcare facilities at Cedar Creek Elementary and Emile Elementary.
