About Me
My name is Allison Gray and I’m so fortunate to teach 3rd grade at Cedar Creek Elementary. This will be my 8th year with Bastrop ISD and my 15th year in education. I have a bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State University. I am certified to teach EC-8th grade. I also have a Master Reading Teacher and an English as a Second Language certifications.
This year we will learn about ourselves as readers and writers, challenge each other to make mistakes and most importantly have fun!
When I’m not teaching, I love hiking with my family in Southwest Austin and gardening. I also enjoy volunteering in the insectary at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center where I feed caterpillars and release butterflies and moths.
