Hello, my name is Ann Kunkel. I am so happy to be teaching 4th grade this year at Cedar Creek Elementary. I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade in the past, and I am excited to be in 4th grade! I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and Ashford University. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and am certified to teach first through sixth grade all subjects and seventh and eighth in Math.
My husband Troy and I live in Paige, Texas with our son Waylon and our dogs Lucky and Chui. We are very involved at our ranch and in our community.
I have many hobbies, but my favorite is cross-stitching. I also love to read, cook, and garden.
This year we will be learning many fun things. In Math, we are continuously building on skills from the previous year, and we are focusing on multi-step word problems as well as long division. In Science, we are also continuing to build on previous year's skills, and we are focusing on experimental design. In English Language Arts, we are reading and responding to texts to show comprehension at a 4th grade level.
The best way to reach me is through the school either by phone, email, or through School Status.
If you have a concern about your child's progress, please be in touch. I am excited to teach your child this year and look forward to getting to know your family.
